SUMMARY:Joe Bananas Set To Host Hog Roast & Cider Festival
DESCRIPTION:Summer fun looks set to continue in one of Whitehaven’s most popular bars\, as Joe Bananas hosts its inaugural Hog Roast & Cider Festival on July 14th. \nSince opening in summer 2015\, the venue has went from strength to strength and is now a firm favourite among locals for everything from nights out to private functions and birthday parties. With a live music offering now firmly in place\, music lovers can expect to enjoy the best acts the local area has to offer on a weekly basis – and with great-value drinks offers on a regular basis\, it’s easy to see how Joe Bananas has so quickly cemented its reputation as the place to be on the Whitehaven pub/club scene. \n \nCider Galore \nOn July 14th\, Joe Bananas will be transformed into a cider wonderland. “We will have draught ciders\, bottled ciders\, real cider on hand pulls and loads of guest ciders” explained Jason Fisher\, proprietor. \nA freshly-cooked hog roast is also set to take centre stage\, which is expected to be popular with attendees who want to enjoy some delicious summertime food alongside craft beverages from around the country. \nLive Music All Day \nWhile Joe Bananas has already built up something of a reputation with those familiar with the Cumbrian gig-going calendar\, the Cider & Hog Roast Festival looks set to involve the venue’s biggest live music event yet. \nSeveral local bands will be performing from 12pm\, with the music continuing until right up until midnight – an entire day of entertainment to rival any local music festival\, and all for free. Acoustic acts will be kicking off proceedings\, followed by Corey Spedding at 1.30pm. The Mustangz take the stage at 3pm\, followed by Mojo Rising at 6pm and headliners Springfield at 9pm. \nWith the addition of high-quality ciders and fantastic home-cooked food\, it’s easy to see how this event is going to be a popular draw with music lovers\, foodies and cider-heads alike. The best advice is to get there early to enjoy as much of the action as possible. \n \nJoe Bananas is located at 25 Duke Street\, Whitehaven\, CA28 7EU. The Hog Roast & Cider Festival takes place on Saturday July 14th 2018\, and entry is free. For more information\, search for “Joe Bananas Whitehaven” on Facebook or call 01946 65030. \n
