DESCRIPTION:Come down to Florence Arts Centre on Sunday 28 August for a crash course in flying and manoeuvring a drone – come and fly this latest technology against the industrial backdrop of the disused Florence Mine. \nIn conjunction with Abandon Normal Devices\, at our Drone School workshop you will get the chance to learn more about UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and pilot a Nano Drone through the Drone School obstacle course. \nHere you will have the opportunity to look around through the eyes of a drone\, whilst competing with your family and friends in mini-missions of increasing difficulty\, to gain the top pilot position! \nSuitable for all the family\, but under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. No prior drone experience is needed – as practice drones will be provided and it’s free to take part. \n
