Carlisle’s City of Lights returns – only 3 weeks to go!
City of Lights – Thursday 23, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February
That’s right… City of Lights is back in just 3 weeks’ time, bigger and brighter than ever before.
Once again Luxmuralis have created a spectacular light-and-sound show which will this time include both inside and outside the Cathedral, at Tullie House and at Carlisle Castle. Take a walk through our historic quarter and see it in a new light – literally – as projections, lasers and optics light up the night sky and some of the city’s most iconic architecture.
The theme of this year’s show is ‘Science’ so expect eye-opening artistic interpretations of molecular structures, DNA, famous scientists and scientific discoveries, past and present.
Time slots are available from 6.30pm to 9pm each day and tickets cost £8.50 per adult, £7.50 per child (aged 5-16) and are free for under 5s.
