The event is open to young people aged 12 – 18 years old and is completely free of charge. The programme includes a wide-range of unusual sporting activities that are suitable for complete beginners and led by professional workshop leaders.

Activities include a ‘how to’ training session for handball at Workington Leisure Centre. The session is run by the England Handball team where they will show participants how to play the game and how to run a junior competition.

In Vulcan Park, there is a panna football training session using the brand new panna football court. Panna is the ultimate test of footballing skill and one of the most popular games in street football. Games are played one on one or two on two and the aim is to out skill your opponent with tricks, goals and nutmegs.

Over in Hall Park, participants can channel their inner Robin Hood with archery sessions right next to Workington Hall. The best archer of the group will receive a certificate and prize.
